Bosnia and Herzegovina
Dr. Danijela (Ilija) Crnogorac was born in Sarajevo.
1996. She enrolled in the Faculty of Medicine in Novi Sad and she completed her studies at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Novi Sad in 2001. She finished her specialization in Novi Sad and Subotica.
In 2001 she establishes a working relationship at the Community Hospital in Sokolac, at the surgical department.
In 2003, at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Foča, she enrolled in the postgraduate studies in the field , of “Fundamentals of Medical Research” and finished it with a grade nine. Master’s thesis is under preparation.
In December 2005, she got a specialization in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery as a self-financing citizen of Serbia and Montenegro, and performing it at the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo.
In June 2010 she finished her specialization in the field of “ Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery in Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo. (President of the Examination Committee was Professor Dr. Reuf Karabeg at the same time he was the Head of the Department for Plastic and Recontructive surgery).
In 2009 thanks to the humanitarian gesture of Professor Karabeg and her colleagues at the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, she was allowed to go to the Military Medical Academy in Belgrade, where he mastered the techniques and principles of microvascular reconstructive surgery (under the guidance of Prof. Marijan Novakovic).
In 2010 she begins to work for an indefinite period in the Karabeg Polyclinic.
She provides an active contribution as a co-author (chapter of otoplasty) in the textbook Basics of Plastic and Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery , published by the Faculty of Medicine, University of Sarajevo. The book was written by Professor Karabeg as the author and editor and by twenty- two most prominent experts from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia and the United States. It is also the first textbook for students of Medical and Dental University. She has also co- authored in 25 published papers at Congresses.
